Erler Zimmer dog pelvis - phantom for CT and X-ray in detail
The phantom offers the realistic simulation of a dog pelvis without contrast medium. Bones and soft tissue are displayed authentically, with realistic CT values for all tissues at a tube voltage of 120 kVp in CT. The air spaces in the phantom are filled with a cellulose polymer composite with approximately -80 Hounsfield units. If you wish to use the phantom primarily at other tube voltages (e.g. 100 kVp), the calibration of the CT values can be adjusted accordingly at your request. The phantom also offers realistic tissue contrasts in X-ray imaging.
