Erler Zimmer Pat pressure ulcer classification model in detail
This unique, compact, comprehensive and realistic model shows you the different types of pressure ulcers. It includes unclassifiable necrosis, stage 1 (on light and dark pigmented skin), stage 2, stage 3 with tunnelling and necrosis, simple stage 4 ulcer on the ankle with exposed bone and tendon and a stage 4 with exposed bone, ligaments, muscle as well as hollowing, tunnelling, eschar and necrosis. With this model, you can clearly see what these different stages look like.
In addition, the darkly pigmented skin shows how a stage 1 pressure ulcer, a blood blister and a wound with suspected deep tissue injury can look different depending on the pigmentation of the skin.
If you want to store the model safely, there is the option of purchasing a storage bag separately.
The size of the model is 21 x 32 x 4.5 cm and it weighs 1.5 kg.
