Duration of use?
You should not use the medicine for longer than 2 weeks without medical advice. If symptoms persist or recur regularly, you should consult your doctor.

Have you forgotten to take it?
Continue taking the medicine as normal (i.e. not double the amount) at the next prescribed time.
As a general rule: Pay particular attention to conscientious dosing for infants, small children and older people. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any effects or precautionary measures.

Which age group should be considered?
- Children under 12 years of age: As a rule, the medicine should not be used in this age group.
- Adolescents from 12 to 18 years: No dosage information is available for this age group.
What about pregnancy and breastfeeding?
- Pregnancy: Consult your doctor. Various considerations play a role in whether and how the medicine can be used during pregnancy.
- Breastfeeding: According to current knowledge, there is no indication that the medicine should not be used during breastfeeding.

- The medicine may mask symptoms that indicate a serious illness. You should therefore consult your doctor before taking the medicine if you have prolonged symptoms.
- Caution in case of allergy to the sweetener saccharin (E number E 954)!
- Take care if you are intolerant to fructose (fruit sugar). If you have to follow a diabetes diet, you should take the sugar content into account.
- There may be medicines with which interactions occur. You should therefore generally inform your doctor or pharmacist of any other medicine you are already taking before starting treatment with a new medicine. This also applies to medicines that you buy yourself, use only occasionally or have been using for some time.
- Lemonade, orange juice, lemon juice, fruit juice, wine and citric acid (e.g. as an excipient in effervescent tablets) must not be taken together with the medication.
How do the ingredients of the medicine work?
The active ingredients bind and neutralize stomach acid. The magnesium and aluminum contained form salts that are difficult to dissolve with stomach acid and are excreted during bowel movements. In this way, the substances combat heartburn, belching and other acid-related stomach complaints. In addition, the risk of ulcers occurring in the gastrointestinal tract as a result of hyperacidity is reduced.
