Another feature of our BIO Sukkary dates is their different ripening times. The earlier the organic succary date is harvested, the juicier and fruitier it is.
Because of the different harvest times, the organic succary date is divided into "crunchy soft" and "extra soft".

Sustainable and resource-conserving management is particularly important to DATTELBÄR. That's why we always harvest the whole palm tree and every one of our fresh organic dates is used by us.
Even "less beautiful" organic dates are harvested from the palm tree and then pitted.
A 3 kg box of BIO Sukkary dates KNUSPRIG WEICH kernel-free contains slightly drier and firmer dates - as they are partly made up of crystallised sugar due to the later harvest time, which gives them their unique crunchiness and firmness.
WHAT TO KNOW: The first dates to be harvested are picked by hand with extreme care from the vine and are very moist and soft. For the "general" harvest, we wait until the dates have reached a certain firmness and then shake them off the vine without damaging them. The dates are then carefully and thoroughly cleaned with a damp cotton cloth and immediately cooled to preserve their special freshness.
Note: Despite careful deseeding, some dates may still contain kernels or pieces of kernels. Please check the dates for possible kernel residues before processing.
