Paracetamol AL 1000 in detail
Paracetamol AL 1000 suppositories are an effective treatment for mild to moderate pain and fever. Each suppository contains 1000 mg paracetamol and is applied rectally. The dosage should be adjusted, especially in the case of liver or kidney problems. Side effects are rare and may include slight increases in liver enzymes or allergic skin reactions. Medical advice should be sought before use during pregnancy, breastfeeding or in the case of certain illnesses.
Application:
- Insert suppositories deep into the anus after a bowel movement.
- For better lubrication, warm the suppositories or dip them in warm water.
Ingredients:
- Active ingredient: 1000 mg paracetamol per suppository.
- Excipients: Hard fat, 25 mg phospholipids (from soya bean).
Dosage:
- From 12 years of age and with a body weight over 43 kg: 1 suppository every 6 hours.
- Maximum 4 suppositories per day.
Side effects:
- Possible side effects such as an increase in liver enzymes or allergic reactions are rare.

- Inform your doctor about other medications, as interactions may occur.
