Take the medicine with liquid (e.g. 1 glass of water).
Duration of use?
You should not use the medicine for longer than 5 days for pain and 3 days for fever without medical advice. If the symptoms persist or recur regularly, you should consult your doctor.
Overdosage?
A variety of overdose symptoms may occur, including nausea, vomiting, sweating, drowsiness and hepatic coma. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor immediately.
Forgotten to take it?
Continue taking the medicine as normal (i.e. not double the amount) at the next prescribed time.
As a general rule: Pay particular attention to conscientious dosing for infants, small children and older people. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any effects or precautionary measures.
A dosage prescribed by a doctor may differ from the information in the package leaflet. As the doctor will adjust it individually, you should therefore use the medicine according to his instructions.
Always:
- Hypersensitivity to the ingredients
Under certain circumstances - talk to your doctor or pharmacist:
- Impaired liver function (e.g. due to chronic alcohol abuse or liver inflammation)
- Gilbert's syndrome (Meulengracht's disease)
- Alcohol abuse
- Impaired kidney function
- Fluid deficiency
- Malnutrition
- Hereditary enzyme disorder (glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency)
- Anemia due to rapid breakdown of red blood cells (haemolytic anemia)
Which age group should be considered?
- Children under 16 years of age: As a rule, the medicine should not be used in this group. There are preparations that are more suitable in terms of active ingredient strength and/or pharmaceutical form.
What about pregnancy and breastfeeding?
- Pregnancy: Consult your doctor. Various considerations play a role in whether and how the medicine can be used during pregnancy.
- Breastfeeding: According to current knowledge, there is no indication that the medicine should not be used during breastfeeding.
If you have been prescribed the medicine despite a contraindication, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. The therapeutic benefit may be greater than the risk associated with use in the case of a contraindication.what adverse effects may occur?

- Prolonged use of painkillers can lead to headaches caused by the painkiller. Talk to your doctor to prevent your headache from becoming chronic.
- The habitual use of painkillers can lead to permanent kidney damage. If several painkillers are combined or if several active ingredients are contained in one painkiller, the risk increases.
- Caution: Regular or heavy alcohol consumption can lead to life-threatening conditions due to any existing liver damage if the medication is also used.
- Caution with allergies to painkillers!
- Caution in case of allergy to binders (e.g. carboxymethylcellulose with the E number E 466)!
- There may be medicines with which interactions occur. You should therefore generally inform your doctor or pharmacist of any other medicine you are already taking before starting treatment with a new medicine. This also applies to medicines that you buy yourself, use only occasionally or have been using for some time.
How does the ingredient of the medicine work?
The active ingredient has an analgesic and antipyretic effect. It also has mild anti-inflammatory properties. It blocks the formation of certain messenger substances in the body, known as prostaglandins. These are significantly involved in the development of pain, fever and inflammation.
