The psyllium husks come directly from India and have the amazing property of being able to absorb up to 30 times their weight in moisture. They are delicious in combination with sweet whey, rice milk, apple, berry or beetroot juice. They also taste delicious diluted with a little water and apple sauce. If you stir about 2 tablespoons of the psyllium husks into ½ litre of carbohydrate-rich vegetable or fruit juice, the consistency will become firmer and firmer after 10 to 20 minutes.
