B. Braun Monomax® suture material in detail
The Monomax® ultra-long reiable suture material is absorbable, very elastic and monofilament. It consists of poly-4-hydroxybutyrate and is significantly more reiable than conventional long-term reiable suture materials. It supports the abdominal wall for up to six months and thus guarantees maximum functionality. The elasticity of the Monomax® suture material absorbs the dynamics and the resulting tension in the fascia after laparotomy closure.
