Kohle Hevert in detail
Kohle Hevert is a proven remedy for the treatment of diarrhoea and poisoning caused by food, heavy metals and medicines. The medicinal charcoal quickly and effectively adsorbs a variety of toxins and thus supports the rapid relief of symptoms. It is well tolerated, vegan and gluten-free.

Active ingredient:
- 250 mg medicinal charcoal per tablet
Excipients:
- Magnesium stearate
- Hyprolose, low-substituted
- maltodextrin
- Iron(III) oxide hydrate, black
- povidone K25
- Water, purified

Application:
- For diarrhoea: Adults take 2 to 4 tablets 3 to 4 times a day, dissolved in plenty of liquid. Children take half the dose.
- For poisoning: The dose can be increased to 50 tablets, which are mixed in liquid to form a slurry. 30 to 60 minutes later, a saline laxative such as sodium sulphate should be taken.
Recommended intake:
- For diarrhoea until bowel movements are normalised.
- If treatment remains unsuccessful after 3 days, consult a doctor.
Side effects:
- No side effects are known at the recommended doses.
- After very high doses, constipation and intestinal obstruction may occur.
- Ingestion leads to black discolouration of the stool.
Contraindications:
- Do not take with febrile diarrhoea.
- If poisoning is suspected, inform a doctor or the emergency services immediately.
Storage:
- Store in a cool place (6-25 °C) and protected from light.
- Keep out of the reach of children.
Interactions:
- Do not take directly with other medicines, as their effectiveness may be reduced.
