Erler Zimmer Louie K9 Tracheostomy Model in Detail
The Louie Tracheostomy Model is a life-saving solution for situations where a dog's life is in danger due to upper airway obstruction. Based on requests from military and emergency customers, we are pleased to present this model to you.
The Louie Tracheotomy Model can be used to simulate tracheotomy procedures and coniotomies. It enables incisions to be made in the skin layers, the cricothyroid ligament and between the tracheal rings. The model is supplied with three interchangeable tracheas and pieces of skin as well as an artificial lung. Incisions and sutures can be made on the skin pieces and on the trachea. If desired, additional skin pieces and tracheas can be ordered separately.
Please note that the model does not contain artificial blood.
