Heparin AL Ointment 30,000 in detail
For the supportive treatment of acute swelling after blunt injuries such as bruises and haematomas.
Active ingredients:
- 300 I.U. heparin sodium from pigs
Excipients:
- Palmitoyl ascorbic acid
- benzyl alcohol
- Perfume oil Sport PH
- Other excipients
Dosage:
- Apply 2 to 3 times daily to the affected area.
- Do not use for longer than 10 days without consulting a doctor.
How to use:
- Apply thinly and evenly.
- When using with a bandage: Apply a thick layer of ointment and secure with a bandage.
Side effects:
- Rare: Allergic reactions such as redness and itching.
- Very rare: Heparin-induced thrombocytopenia type II.
Interactions:
- No known interactions with topical application.
Contraindications:
- Allergy to heparin or other ingredients.
- Acute or known thrombocytopenia type II.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding:
- No known adverse effects.
- Not placental, does not pass into breast milk.
