The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.How to use?
Apply the product to the affected skin area(s). Then massage the medicine in gently. The area(s) treated with the medicine should be covered with a bandage.
Wash your hands thoroughly after use.
Avoid accidental contact with the eyes.
Duration of use?
The application should be continued until the symptoms have healed. If symptoms recur after the end of treatment, please consult your doctor.
Overdosage?
No overdosage symptoms are known to date. If in doubt, consult your doctor.
As a general rule: Pay particular attention to conscientious dosing for infants, small children and older people. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any effects or precautionary measures.
A dosage prescribed by a doctor may differ from the information in the package leaflet. As the doctor will personalise it, you should therefore use the medicine according to his instructions.
The medicine may be used for a maximum of 1 year after opening/preparation!
The medicine must be stored at room temperature after opening/preparation.
Always:
- Hypersensitivity to the ingredients
- Allergy to iodine
- Inflammation of the middle ear
Under certain circumstances - talk to your doctor or pharmacist:
- Thyroid disease, with long-term use
The medicine is not suitable for use on the conjunctiva of the eye.
Which age group should be considered?
- Infants and young children under 2 years of age: The medicine may only be used after consultation with a doctor or under medical supervision.
What about pregnancy and breastfeeding?
- Pregnancy: The medicinal product must not be used.
- Breastfeeding: The medicine must not be used.
If you have been prescribed the medicine despite a contraindication, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. The therapeutic benefit may be greater than the risk associated with use in the case of a contraindication.what adverse effects can occur?

How does the active ingredient of the medicine work?
The active ingredient belongs to the group of antiseptics and has an antibacterial and antifungal effect. Clipquinol is used to treat skin infections caused by bacteria and fungi.
