Method of use?

Rinse the oral cavity with the medicine for 20 to 30 seconds.
Or: Gargle with the medicine.
Then spit out the medicine and avoid swallowing.

Duration of use?

The symptoms usually improve within 2-4 days. If symptoms persist or recur regularly, you should consult your doctor.

Overdose?

Overdosing may cause nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, oesophageal irritation, dizziness, hallucinations, restlessness, anxiety and irritability. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor immediately.
In general: Pay particular attention to conscientious dosing, especially with infants, small children and older people. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any effects or precautions.

What should you bear in mind?

- Avoid excessive UV radiation, e.g. in sunbeds or during extended exposure to sunlight. in solariums or during extended sunbathing, because the skin reacts more sensitively during the use of the medicine.
- Caution in case of allergy to painkillers!
- Caution in case of allergy to the sweetener saccharin (E number E 954)!
- Caution in case of allergy to colouring agents (e.g. quinoline yellow with the E number E 104)!
- The medicine contains small amounts of alcohol and should therefore be avoided by alcoholics.
- Parabens (preservatives e.g. E 214 - E 219) can cause hypersensitivity reactions, even with a time delay.
- There may be medicines with which interactions occur. You should therefore generally inform your doctor or pharmacist of any other medicines you are already taking before starting treatment with a new medicine. This also applies to medicines that you buy yourself, use only occasionally or have been using for some time.

How does the active ingredient of the medicine work?

The active ingredient benzydamine has an anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antibacterial effect.

Use

For symptomatic treatment:

- Pain and irritation in the mouth and throat, such as:

- Sore throat and throat irritation.

- Sore throat

Consult your doctor if your symptoms worsen or do not improve within 3 days and if you also have a fever or other symptoms.

Dosage

For gargling or rinsing:

- 15 ml (1 tablespoon)

- 2-3 times a day

- Adolescents aged 12 and over and adults after a meal

- Maximum dose: For severe symptoms, use up to 5 times a day.
