Vitamin D3 Hevert in detail
High-dose vitamin D3 for the prophylaxis and therapy of vitamin D deficiency, recommended only on medical advice.
Active ingredients:
- Colecalciferol dry concentrate
Excipients:
- Carboxymethyl starch, sodium type A
- Sodium stearyl fumarate
- Silicon dioxide, highly dispersed
- Partially hydrogenated soya oil
- Microcrystalline cellulose
- Bovine collagen hydrolysate
- Sucrose
- Maize starch
- DL-α-tocopherol
Notice:
Vitamin D levels should be monitored by blood tests, especially with long-term treatment.
Particularly advisable for:
- People with frequent infections
- From October to April
- People who get little sunlight
- Older people
- Babies and small children to prevent rickets
- To help with osteoporosis
Symptoms of vitamin D deficiency:
- Reduced muscle strength, muscle and joint pain
- Weakened immune system, susceptibility to infections
- Osteoporosis and rickets in children
Safe dosage:
The EFSA recommends a maximum of 4000 IU daily for adolescents aged 11 and over and adults, 2000 IU for children aged 1 to 10.
