Accu-Chek Mobile test cassette in detail
The Accu-Chek Mobile blood glucose meter impresses with its ease of use and the use of a test cassette instead of individual tests. The device fulfils the ISO standard 15197:2013 and is even more accurate compared to the tested batches, while the spacers on the test cassette prevent unintentional contact between the skin and the test field. For the person using the test cassette, this means easier application of the blood sample and considerably simplified handling.
Does the test cassette have to be measured differently?
The measurement with the test cassette is carried out in the same way as with conventional test strips. However, the spacers make it possible to hold the device in any position, even when applying the blood sample, as long as there is visual contact with the test field. The spacers may only be touched slightly so that only the drop of blood touches the centre of the test field. Otherwise, the blood glucose measurement remains the same as with comparable devices.
