Berk White Tara 36 cm in detail
The White Tara is a symbol of purity and is regarded as a revered figure. Her most striking feature is her seven eyes, which, in addition to her natural eyes, can also be found on her forehead and in the palms of her hands and feet. This enables her to perceive those in need in all parts of the world.
Tara embodies the female deity and her name means both "star" and "saviour". In Tibet, she is called "Dölma", which simply means "mother". She is worshipped as the mother of all Buddhas. Her right hand is in a downward gesture of granting wishes and her left hand shows the gesture of protection.
The brass is in an antique green colour and the figure is 36 cm high. It weighs approximately 3.4 kg.
