Take the medicine with liquid (e.g. 1 glass of water). To make it easier to take, you can open the capsule and take the contents mixed with sour, soft food (e.g. yoghurt, apple sauce). The contents of the capsule must not be chewed. Make sure you drink plenty of fluids.
Duration of use?
The duration of use depends on the type of symptoms and/or the course of the disease. It should therefore be determined in consultation with your doctor.
Overdosage?
If the medicine is used as described, no overdosage symptoms are known. If in doubt, consult your doctor.
Have you forgotten to take it?
Continue taking the medicine as normal at the next prescribed time (i.e. not with twice the amount).
As a general rule: Pay particular attention to conscientious dosing, especially with infants, small children and older people. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any effects or precautionary measures.
A dosage prescribed by a doctor may differ from the information in the package leaflet. Since the doctor will adjust it individually, you should therefore use the medicine according to his instructions.
Storage before opening
The medicine must be stored away from heat.
Storage after opening or preparation
The medicine must be used within the next hour after opening/preparation!
This information only applies to the prepared mixture. The bottle may be used for a maximum of 6 months after opening.

What about pregnancy and breastfeeding?
- Pregnancy: Consult your doctor. Various considerations play a role in whether and how the medicine can be used during pregnancy.
- Breastfeeding: According to current knowledge, there is no indication that the medicine should not be used during breastfeeding.

How does the ingredient of the medicine work?
The medicine consists of digestive enzymes extracted from the pancreas of pigs. These are very similar to the naturally occurring digestive enzymes in the human gastrointestinal tract and mix with the chyme in the stomach and intestines after ingestion. There they help to break down the food by splitting the fats, proteins and carbohydrates into smaller units. In this way, the digestion of food is supported. These are then absorbed into the blood or lymph and distributed to the cells of the individual tissues via these transport routes.
