This trainer is specially designed for practising the placement of ECG electrodes with up to 15 channels. It is anatomically correct and provides visual feedback on the correct placement of the electrodes.
You can learn to place the electrodes on an adult using anatomical landmarks such as the intercostal spaces, the medioclavicular line, the anterior axillary line, the midaxillary line and the scapula.
The trainer contains placement points for four limb leads and V1 to V9, with the option to place the electrodes on the left or right side.
The trainer does not provide ECG signals. If you wish to simulate a rhythm, you must connect an ECG simulator (not included) directly to the ECG monitor.
The scope of delivery includes an adult torso, a 15-channel electronics box, a plug-in power supply, a set of 13 cables, 50 electrodes, two batteries, a storage case and operating instructions.
