The Ambu Man Defib resuscitation manikin combines the proven functions of the Ambu Man Wireless with the additional option of early defibrillation. Equipped with the patented Ambu hygiene system to prevent cross-contamination, the Ambu Man Defib Wireless offers an advanced and hygienic solution for training in life-saving situations.
Features of the Ambu Man Defib Wireless:
- Defibrillation and ECG: The apex and sternal electrodes enable defibrillation with up to 360 joules. Adapters enable connection to manual, biphasic and automatic defibrillators from various manufacturers.
- Ambu Manikin Management Module: The browser-based Ambu Manikin Management Module is used to wirelessly control, document and monitor the training device. This is where all relevant data such as compression depth, hand position, ventilation volume and gastric insufflation come together.
- Self-training module: The AmbuMan Defib includes a licence-free self-training module as standard, which enables training stations to be set up. Resuscitation teams can train continuously and trainees have the opportunity to prepare for examinations at any time.
- Display instrument: The display instrument shows the trainer the volume of air supplied and the chest compression depth. It also visualises incorrect pressure points and stomach bloating with clear warning symbols.
- Realistic ventilation: The realistic anatomy enables correct head hyperextension, visible chest movements and audible and perceptible exhalation. Various ventilation techniques such as mouth-to-mouth, mouth-to-nose, Ambu LifeKey/Res-Cue mask and resuscitation bag can be practised.
- Ambu hygiene system: The patented closed hygiene system prevents cross-infection, simulates realistic airway resistance and enables expiration through the mouth and nose.
- Natural torso: The realistic anatomy makes it easier to find the pressure point. Chest stiffness is adjustable to simulate soft, normal and hard chest body types.
- Expandable modular system: The basic model consists of a torso, while arms, legs and the Ambu i.v. arm can be purchased separately.
