This manikin, recommended by emergency medicine instructors, enables you to demonstrate precise measures for the successful treatment of thoracic injuries in which the victim's breathing and circulation are impaired by a collapsed lung.
This model allows you to practise puncture and thoracotomy in the second intercostal space along the medioclavicular line and in the fifth intercostal space along the midaxillary line. It provides a realistic practice opportunity for correct needle insertion to relieve pressure in the thorax.
The set is supplied with a foot pump, a replacement pleural cavity and a transport bag, but without a puncture needle. The manikin measures 23 x 48.5 x 48.5 cm and weighs 3.6 kg.
