Product details & mandatory information
Erler Zimmer Stan stage IV pressure ulcer simulator in detail
The model has been specially designed to demonstrate the use of vacuum therapy and negative pressure dressings. It shows a stage 4 pressure ulcer in the sacral region, in which the bone is exposed and the bone marrow is inflamed. In addition, undermining, tissue detachment, eschar, subcutaneous fat and necrosis can be seen. A stage 3 pressure ulcer is also shown, in which subcutaneous fat and granulation tissue can be seen. The size and depth of the stage 4 ulcer, as well as the tunnelling, make the model particularly suitable for demonstrating dressing techniques and preparation for vacuum therapy. The stage 3 ulcer is positioned so that it can be bandaged separately or a bridge dressing can be applied.
