Erler Zimmer tracheostoma care simulator in detail
This simulator of a male adult has an oral and nasal opening as well as all the associated anatomical features such as the pharynx, epiglottis, trachea, oesophagus, stoma, cricoid cartilage, representative cervical vertebrae, left and right bronchi and bronchial tree. The oesophagus ends 5 cm below the tracheal opening.
This aid is perfect for practising oral, nasopharyngeal, nasotracheal and tracheal suction techniques, inflating the tube cuff (cuff) and cleaning the stoma area as well as changing dressings or fixations. You can see the suction catheter and the ventilation tube through a viewing window in the neck. From the underside of the simulator, you can visually check whether the suction catheter is placed in the right bronchus (visible) or in the left bronchus (invisible). The tracheostomy tube is not included in the scope of delivery. The product is supplied with a cleaning agent and a transport case.
