Fields of application:
- Treatment and prevention of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis, Ctenocephalides canis).
- Treatment and prevention of tick infestations (Ixodes ricinus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus).
- Can be used in the treatment programme against flea allergy dermatitis (FAD).
- A single application kills fleas and ticks and protects against re-infestation over a period of 2 to 4 weeks.
Active substances and ingredients:
- Permethrin: 715 mg/ml (active pharmaceutical ingredient).
- Other ingredient: 1-methoxypropan-2-ol ad 1 ml.
- Appearance: Clear, dark yellow solution.
Dosage and administration:
- Dogs up to 15 kg: 1 ml (1 pipette) between the shoulder blades. Permethrin dose: 286 mg/kg bw to 47.6 mg/kg bw.
- Dogs from 15 to under 30 kg: 2 ml (1 ml between the shoulder blades and 1 ml in the tail root area). Permethrin dose: 95.3 mg/kg bw to 47.6 mg/kg bw.
- Dogs over 30 kg: 3 ml (1 ml between the shoulder blades, 1 ml in the tail root area, 1 ml in the centre of the back). Permethrin dose: 71.5 mg/kg bw, decreasing with increasing body weight.
