Green tea 10:1 extract 100 g with 7-9% caffeine and at least 50% polyphenols in detail

Green tea 10:1 extract - A product with many valuable ingredients

The Camellia sinensis, from which our green tea extract is obtained, is a plant species from the tea bush family. The evergreen shrubs or small trees can reach an impressive height of 1 to 5 metres. The leaves are dark green in colour and shiny. From October to February, the flowers appear singly or in threes in the leaf axils. In late summer, the brown seeds develop in flattened capsule fruits.

The Camellia sinensis varieties grow in subtropical monsoon climates and thrive best in humid, hot summers and dry, cool winters. Their natural habitat extends from southern Japan and Korea via southern China to India, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam.

The cultivation of tea plants and the processing of tea have a long tradition in China. The method of pressing and pulverising tea and preparing it with boiling water was developed as early as the 6th century BC. This method of preparation was later developed further and the tea leaves were ground into a fine powder. In the 8th century, Buddhist monks brought this method to Japan, where it led to the famous Japanese tea ceremony. During the Ming Dynasty, the method of brewing tea leaves directly in a teapot, which is now used worldwide, was developed.

Our green tea extract contains at least 50% polyphenols. Polyphenols are secondary plant substances that are widespread in the plant kingdom and fulfil various important tasks. They play a role in regulating plant growth, protecting against diseases and pests and helping plants to communicate with their environment.

Our product contains only green tea 10:1 extract as the main ingredient. The recommended daily intake is 1 x 600 mg powder or 1 x 3 vital measuring spoons in sufficient liquid. Please note that the recommended daily intake should not be exceeded. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not take this product.

Store the product away from light, in a dry place and out of the reach of children. Our green tea extract is a food supplement and is not a substitute for a healthy, varied diet.
