The use of non-elastic plaster materials for functional bandages for injuries to muscles, ligaments and joints is widespread in many areas of prevention, therapy and rehabilitation of the musculoskeletal system. Leukotape® classic is characterised by its high adhesive strength and is water-repellent. It is particularly tensile and inelastic.
The edges of Leukotape® classic are serrated. The material can be easily torn in both the transverse and longitudinal directions by pulling it off briefly with a jerk. This makes it easier to work without scissors. Leukotape® classic has ergonomically rounded edges on the coil core, which make it easy to unroll. The plaster is made of water-repellent cotton fabric coated with a zinc oxide rubber adhesive.
