The moor heat carrier exclusive large is perfect as a heat carrier for moor packs and other heat applications. It can also be used on its own as an effective heat applicator. The best thing about it is that the heat carrier is reusable.
The moor heat carrier consists of a heat reservoir filled with a natural moor filling and is therefore ideal for the application of disposable moor packs.
To use the heat carrier, simply place it on the area of the body to be treated and wrap the patient well with foil and blankets. It has proven to be a good idea to use the heat carrier together with mud packs N (disposable packs). The outer film of the heat transfer medium is extremely heat-resistant and can withstand temperatures of up to 80° C. To heat the heat transfer medium, place it in a water bath and heat it to approx. 50-60° C. Make sure that you do not exceed the regular heating temperature of 60° C.
Note that the heat transfer medium must not touch the base of the heating device when heating in the water bath, as this could damage the film.
