Paracetamol-ratiopharm 500mg in detail
Paracetamol-ratiopharm® 500 mg tablets effectively relieve pain and reduce fever. They are particularly gentle on the stomach and have few side effects and interactions, making them well tolerated even by people with sensitive stomachs. The tablets are easy to dose and take thanks to the notch and are suitable for adults, adolescents and children from 4 years of age. If necessary, they can also be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding after consulting a doctor.
Indications:
- Mild to moderate pain
- Fever
Active substances and excipients:
- Active substance: 500 mg paracetamol
- Excipients: magnesium stearate, croscarmellose sodium, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, microcrystalline cellulose, maize starch, povidone, talc
Dosage and administration:
Always take Paracetamol-ratiopharm® 500 mg tablets exactly as described or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
- Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over (over 40 kg): 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours, maximum 8 tablets per day.
- Children aged 6-12 years: ½-1 tablet every 4-6 hours, maximum 4 tablets per day.
- Children under 6 years of age: Use Paracetamol-ratiopharm® suppositories or solution.
Side effects:
Paracetamol-ratiopharm® 500 mg tablets are well tolerated and rarely cause side effects. With occasional use, stomach complaints, skin rashes or allergic reactions occur very rarely.
Warnings and precautions:
- Do not use for longer than 3 days without medical advice.
- If signs of hypersensitivity reactions occur, consult a doctor immediately.
- Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all other medicines you are taking.
