How to use?
Take the medicine. The syrup should be held in the mouth and throat for as long as possible before swallowing. If possible, you should not eat or drink anything for 30 minutes after taking the medicine.

Duration of use?
You should not use the medicine for longer than 1 week without medical advice. If symptoms persist or recur regularly, you should consult your doctor. Children under 3 years of age should always consult a doctor if they have a cough.

Overdosage?
No overdose symptoms are known. If in doubt, consult your doctor.

Have you forgotten to take it?
Continue taking the medicine as normal (i.e. not double the amount) at the next prescribed time.

The medicine must be stored away from heat.

- The medicine contains small amounts of alcohol and should therefore be avoided by alcoholics.

How do the ingredients of the medicine work?

The ingredients come from the marshmallow plant and act as a natural mixture. About the plant itself:

- Appearance: perennial, shoulder-high shrub with large, pale pink flowers
- Occurrence: Asia, Central Europe
- Main ingredients: Polysaccharide mucilage
- Plant parts and preparations used: mainly extracts of the leaves, flowers and root
The mucilage contained in marshmallow forms a protective layer over irritated mucous membranes. In this way, they soothe irritating coughs and can protect the stomach lining from too much acid. Animal experiments have also shown an anti-inflammatory effect.
