Herbal medicinal product for the external treatment of blunt injuries.

Fields of application
profelan®arnika is used externally for blunt injuries and the consequences of accidents such as sprains, bruises, contusions and haematomas.
Application
For application to the skin. Unless otherwise prescribed, adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over should apply a 3 cm long strand of ointment to an area the size of the palm of the hand up to 3 times a day and massage in gently. The duration of application depends on the clinical picture.
Ointment dressings
Apply profelan®arnika about 2 mm thick to the area to be treated, cover it with a linen cloth and apply a bandage. The ointment dressing should be worn for about 8 hours. If necessary, the bandages can be applied several times until the symptoms subside, without an airtight cover.
