The cobas h 232 POC system is suitable for the reliable presence diagnosis and management of patients with signs & symptoms of cardiovascular disease. As a portable point-of-care system, the cobas h 232 is an ideal tool for diagnosing and optimising the treatment of patients with suspected acute myocardial infarction, heart failure or deep vein thrombosis. Access by unauthorised persons is prevented by entering a user ID and lock. The patient and user IDs ensure the correct documentation of test results. If the quality assurance measures are not adhered to, the device can be automatically locked. A special QR code function and improved connectivity via WiFi minimise errors, increase security and optimise workflows. The connection to the cobas® infinity POC enables automatic documentation of accreditation, user approval and an overview of the device status. Quality assurance by the central laboratory is also guaranteed. The POC system can only be used by trained users, as a connected LMS performs automatic recertification.
