Contrary to many assumptions, Greek mountain tea is not a blend, but the name of an herb that is native to the entire Mediterranean region. The Latin name is Sideritis scardica.

This tea is a zero-waste hero by nature! All parts of the plant are used as flavouring components - the leaves and flowers as well as the stems. It is therefore completely normal for the packet to also contain stems. The flowers of the plant are relatively inconspicuous - it can therefore give the impression that the proportion of stems is higher. The stems contained in the product appear furry when cut and exert a magical attraction to the herb. Over time, the fine parts of the herb like to cling to the woolly parts. This is completely normal and does not affect the product quality in any way.
