Meliseptol rapid in detail

Meliseptol rapid is an alcohol-based rapid disinfectant with a broad spectrum of activity (bactericidal (incl. MRSA, TbB) and fungicidal (incl. moulds); limited virucidal PLUS (enveloped viruses plus adenoviruses, noroviruses and rotaviruses) that can be used either for spraying or wiping. It is completely free of aldehydes and alkylamines and leaves a particularly fresh odour. The ready-to-use disinfectant can be used for cleaning small surfaces of medical devices (treatment chairs, work surfaces and operating theatre equipment) and has a contact time of one minute.Notes
  • Meliseptol rapid has been dermatologically tested and does not lead to undesirable skin reactions due to skin irritation or sensitisation (Dermatest Münster, 07/2002).
  • The liquid should not be used on hot surfaces or energised equipment.
  • With alcohol-sensitive materials, it should be checked beforehand whether they are resistant to Meliseptol rapid.
