B. Braun Monosyn® suture material in detail

Monosyn® is a medium-strength, absorbable, synthetic, monofilament suture material. It consists of a triblock copolymer of glycolide, ε-caprolactone and trimethylene carbonate. The suture material is particularly suitable for the following indications:

  • Visceral surgery
  • Gynaecology
  • Urology
  • Plastic surgery and reconstructive surgery
  • Subcutaneous and intracutaneous skin closure

Monosyn® is available in sizes USP 0 - 7/0 - all versions can be found in our online shop!
