B. Braun bone wax in detail

Bone wax from B. Braun is sterile and non-absorbable. It consists of 70 % beeswax and 30 % Vaseline. The bone wax is used for mechanical haemostasis by closing intra-osseous vascular channels. Only a small amount of bone wax is required to achieve haemostasis. It is soft and easily mouldable in the hand.

Vliwasoft non-woven compress non-sterile: Vliwasoft nonwoven dressing is excellent as a wound dressing and for wound cleansing. The nonwoven is very absorbent and ideally suited for light to moderately exuding wounds.Suprasorb A+AG Antimicrobial Calcium Alginate Dressing: The Suprasorb A+AG calcium alginate dressing reduces the microbial load in the wound bed and is suitable for infected or direct-threat wounds. Also for new infections with MRSA or VRE. The Suprasorb A+AG has a soft, conformable wound cover that adapts well to any base.Vliwazell absorbent dressing sterile: The Vliwazell absorbent dressing pad is the right choice for heavily exuding wounds. This absorbent dressing is characterized by high skin-friendliness. The wound exudate is quickly directed into the absorbent body made of cellulose flakes, whose absorption capacity is many times that of a gauze compress. A special blue fleece on the back protects against the penetration of wound exudate and thus protects clothing and underwear.
