- Caution in case of allergy to local anaesthetics (local anaesthetics such as benzocaine, oxybuprocaine, procaine and tetracaine)!
- Take care if you are allergic to dyes (e.g. quinoline yellow with the E number E 104)!
- Caution in case of allergy to colourings (e.g. indigo carmine with the E number E 132)!

- There may be medicines with which interactions occur. You should therefore generally inform your doctor or pharmacist of any other medicines you are already taking before starting treatment with a new medicine. This also applies to medicines that you buy yourself, use only occasionally or have been using for some time.
How do the ingredients of the medicine work?

The medicine consists of a combination of active ingredients. The active ingredient benzocaine anaesthetises, but only locally. The substance prevents the nerves from transmitting stimuli. At low doses, the substance makes you insensitive to pain. If the amount of benzocaine increases, the nerves no longer react sensitively to cold, heat, pressure or touch. Because the substance does not dissolve in the blood, it is only suitable for superficially anaesthetising mucous membranes and skin. When applied locally, the active ingredient cetylpyridinium chloride kills various bacteria and viruses on the surface and therefore has a disinfectant effect.
