The model shows a pregnant woman (Japanese) who is 36 weeks pregnant. You can use this model to practise the external rotation of the foetus. You also have the option of filling the amniotic sac with glycerine to simulate amniotic fluid. Different situations can be simulated depending on how much fluid you fill in. The model is made of soft silicone that resembles skin and provides a realistic tactile sensation. The head, hands and legs of the foetus are made of harder material, as is the spine. This allows you to feel the position of the baby from the outside. The model measures 32 x 52 x 25 cm and weighs 8.6 kg.
