Erler Zimmer fascial plane simulator in detail
The fascial planes are thin-walled connective tissues that serve as a protective sheath for organs, blood vessels, bones, nerve fibres and muscles, holding them in place. When injecting into nerves or muscles, the fluid is often injected into the surrounding fascia as it flows along the fascial plane. With this simulator, you have the opportunity to practice injecting into the fascial plane and observe the fluid in ultrasound Doppler mode. On the simulator, you can follow how the injected fluid moves along the fascial plane and ends up in a water collection tray.
