Erler Zimmer LSAT Ver.2 lung auscultation trainer in detail
This unique trainer offers you more efficient and effective lung auscultation training. You can control the physical condition of the patient via a touchscreen tablet. A total of 36 different patient cases are available to you, including X-ray, CT and bronchoscopy images. The trainer's body has 7 anterior and 8 posterior auscultation sites that can be used with standard stethoscopes. This makes it possible for several students to auscultate at the same time.
All sounds are classified according to the specifications of the American Thoracic Society. The integrated LED light indicates the inspiratory and expiratory phases and is synchronised with the sounds (can also be switched off). Background heart sounds are also available and can be adjusted in volume. The system is supplied on a trolley and is already configured (can also be used on a table). When the device is switched on, a test routine is automatically performed to check all components for functionality and to rule out possible malfunctions.
