The IM and iliac crest puncture trainer model is a training model that helps you learn the correct technique for intramuscular injections as well as the technique of iliac crest biopsy. The model contains an artificial pelvis made of a material that resembles bone and can be punctured several times. It allows the anatomical landmarks to be felt in order to precisely localise the puncture site. The puncture sensation is similar to that of a real patient. Please note that the model does not allow fluid aspiration. After intensive use, the model must be completely replaced as it is a consumable item. The model is kept in natural size.
