Erler Zimmer injection arm, suitable for Ambu dolls in detail
The Ambu I.V. trainer arm gives you the opportunity to practise inserting cannulas and catheters, carrying out infusions, injecting medication, drawing blood and palpating a manually generated radial pulse. The arm can be used either on the supplied training mat or on a suitable training device.
The I.V. trainer arm has interchangeable skin and veins. The blood vessels and skin are made of latex and can be easily replaced. This ensures a long service life, as they seal cleanly after insertion.
Another feature of the trainer arm is the flexible joints. The wrist is flexible and the arm can be rotated. This ensures a realistic training experience, especially when placing a catheter on the back of the hand.
In the shoulder area of the trainer arm, there is an indicator that represents the blood vessels. This allows you to check whether an infusion or other procedure has been carried out correctly.
A valve system also prevents the formation of air bubbles in the blood vessels. This is particularly important to ensure realistic training conditions.
