The power of nature

Barley (Hordeum vulgare) is a cereal and belongs to the sweet grass family. It is harvested before the ear with the grain kernels forms. Barley grass is a young barley plant and, along with wheat, is one of the oldest and most important types of grain.

Barley grass juice is a nutrient-rich superfood and can be included in your daily diet. It is finely ground and the body absorbs it particularly well. It is important to note that barley grass juice does not contain gluten or amylase trypsin inhibitors (ATIs), which are found in bread, pasta, couscous and bulgur and are causing allergies or intolerances in an increasing number of people.

Difference between barley grass and barley grass juice powder

When barley grass is processed, the whole stalk is processed, which means that fibre is retained. Barley grass juice powder contains hardly any fibre, as only the pressed juice is processed. The barley grass juice powder is therefore richer in nutrients.

Bioactive dehydration

We use young harvested barley grass from certified organic cultivation for our barley grass juice powder. The grass is pressed and then pulverised in a special drying process (bioactive dehydration) at a temperature below 41°C. This process is gentle and ensures that the quality of the juice powder is preserved, including the colour, taste, aroma and nutrients of the fresh juice. Our barley grass juice powder is therefore of raw food quality. We do not use any processes that are harmful to health during production and do not use any genetically modified substances, derivatives, artificial flavourings, colourings or preservatives or unnecessary additives, fillers or additives. Our organic barley grass juice powder is natural, vegan, kosher, halal and free from soya, gluten, lactose and gelatine.

By using the pure juice of the grass, a higher nutrient density is achieved than when using the whole grass. Around 33 kg of fresh organic barley grass is used for 1 kg of grass juice powder. In contrast to conventional barley grass powder, our barley grass juice powder dissolves completely.

Ingredients: Organic barley grass juice powder

Recommended intake: Stir 5 g or 8 vital measuring spoons (enclosed) into fruit juices, smoothies or water every day or add directly to salads, muesli or similar.

Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Food supplements are no substitute for a healthy, varied and balanced diet.

How long should you take barley grass juice powder?

Barley grass juice powder can be integrated into your daily diet all year round. Long-term intake has only advantages and no disadvantages.

Storage instructions: Never leave products open for long periods as the powder attracts moisture and can clump together. Keep the product protected from light, dry and out of the reach of children.
