How to use?
Take the medicine with liquid (e.g. 1 glass of water).

Duration of use?
You should not use the medicine for longer than 3-5 days without medical advice. If your symptoms persist for longer, you should consult your doctor. The medicine should not be used for longer than 2-3 weeks.

Overdosage?
Overdosing can lead to nausea, vomiting, restlessness, confusion, drowsiness, accelerated pulse, breathing disorders and agitation. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor immediately.

Have you forgotten to take it?
Continue taking the medicine as normal (i.e. not with twice the prescribed amount) at the next prescribed time.

The active ingredient quenches the urge to cough by paralysing the cough centre in the brain. However, to prevent mucus from building up in the airways, the substance is only suitable if the cough is completely dry. Anyone who overdoses on the substance runs the risk of provoking a blockage of the airways or finding it difficult to breathe.
