Innovative pocket-sized dermatoscope
The innovative pocket-sized dermatoscope is the ideal tool for dermatological examinations. It features LED ring illumination with 6 LEDs arranged in a concentric pattern. This illumination ensures a sharp-edged and homogeneous light, which contributes to a precise diagnosis.
A major advantage of the dermatoscope is that it is maintenance-free. As there is no need to change the lamp, you save time and money. In addition, the contact disc of the device is removable so that it can be easily cleaned.
With the dermatoscope's infinitely variable zoom range, you can magnify the area of skin to be examined up to 10 times. This gives you a distortion-free image and allows you to see the smallest details.
The head of the dermatoscope has been optimised to offer you maximum comfort during the examination. It is dimmable so that you can adjust the brightness as required. The device also has a practical automatic switch-off function that is activated after 3 minutes of inactivity to save energy.
The dermatoscope's LEDs have a service life of around 100,000 hours thanks to the constant current control. The illuminance is 10,000 lux and the colour temperature is approx. 4,200 K. This gives you excellent light quality for the examination.
The handle of the dermatoscope is made of a combination of aluminium and glass fibre reinforced plastic, which ensures good handling and durability. In addition, you can also combine the handle with the LuxaScope LED otoscope and ophthalmoscope head for further diagnostic options.
The dermatoscope is powered by a 3.7 V lithium-ion rechargeable battery, which is included in the scope of delivery. To charge the battery, you also receive a charger with a practical USB plug. A country adapter for the EU, UK and US is also included so that you can use the dermatoscope anywhere in the world.
