Magnesium Verla® N Dragées are a mineral preparation for the treatment of magnesium deficiency states that do not require an injection or infusion. They are used to treat disorders of muscle activity such as calf cramps if these are due to a magnesium deficiency.
Ingredients
- Magnesium citrate
- Magnesium bis(hydrogen L-glutamate)
- Other ingredients: Glycerol 85%, povidone (K25), macrogol 6000, talc, calcium carbonate, sucrose, glucose syrup, vanillin, montan glycol wax, titanium dioxide
Directions for use
- Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over: 1-3 dragées 3 times daily (120-360 mg magnesium)
- Children aged 4-11 years: 1-2 dragées (120-240 mg magnesium) 3 times a day
- Take whole with a little liquid, preferably before meals
Side effects
- Occasionally: Soft stools or diarrhoea at high doses
- If diarrhoea occurs, the dose should be reduced
Storage
- Do not store above 30°C
- Keep out of reach of children
