Take the medicine with liquid (e.g. 1 glass of water).
Duration of use?
To improve the symptoms, it may be necessary to take the tablets for 2 - 3 consecutive days. As soon as the symptoms are completely relieved, you should discontinue treatment. It should not be continued for more than 4 weeks without medical advice. If there is no relief of symptoms after 2 weeks of continuous treatment, please consult your doctor.
Overdosage?
If the medicine is used as described, no overdose symptoms are known. If in doubt, consult your doctor.
Have you forgotten to take it?
Continue taking the medicine as normal at the next prescribed time (i.e. not with twice the amount).
As a general rule: Pay particular attention to conscientious dosing, especially with infants, small children and older people. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any effects or precautionary measures.
A dosage prescribed by a doctor may differ from the information in the package leaflet. As the doctor will personalise it, you should therefore use the medicine according to his instructions.

- Hypersensitivity to the ingredients

- History of ulcers in the digestive tract
- Impaired liver function
- Jaundice
- History of surgery in the gastrointestinal tract
Which age group should be considered?
- Children and adolescents under the age of 18: The medicine must not be used.
- Adults aged 55 and over: The medicine should be used with particular caution.
What about pregnancy and breastfeeding?
- Pregnancy: Based on current knowledge, the medicinal product should not be used.
- Lactation: According to current knowledge, use is not recommended. Breastfeeding may need to be considered.

How does the active ingredient of the medicine work?
The active ingredient inhibits the release of stomach acid from the so-called parietal cells of the gastric mucosa. It blocks a specific site there that is responsible for the release of stomach acid via a pump mechanism.
