The Sterican safety injection needles are compatible with Luer push-fit and Luer lock syringe barrels. Pressing the needle protection device against a flat surface favours convenient one-hand activation. The catheter hub is made of polypropylene and the needles are manufactured in accordance with ISO 9626 and ISO 6009.
