FRONTLINE® SPOT ON offers effective protection against parasites such as ticks, fleas and hair lice in dogs. The product is simply applied to the dog's skin and spreads over the body with the natural sebum film. It reduces the risk of infectious diseases transmitted by parasites. FRONTLINE® SPOT ON is also suitable for treating flea bite allergies and is very well tolerated by dogs.
Application of FRONTLINE® SPOT ON
To apply FRONTLINE® SPOT ON, take a pipette out of the packaging, bend the tip and place the pipette on the skin between your dog's shoulder blades. Empty the pipette and allow the product to spread over the entire surface of the dog's skin within 1 to 2 days.
How FRONTLINE® SPOT ON works
After application, an invisible protective coating forms on the dog's skin, which repels ticks, fleas and hair lice and renders them harmless. It is important not to bathe the dog for 2 days after application to ensure optimum distribution of the active ingredient.
Frequently asked questions about FRONTLINE® SPOT ON
- Why should I treat my dog against ticks and fleas? Ticks and fleas can transmit serious infectious diseases such as Lyme disease or cucumber tapeworm. Treatment protects the dog from these dangers.
- Why do I still see ticks after treatment? Ticks are usually killed within 48 hours. Temporarily visible ticks are gradually removed once the active ingredient has penetrated the carapace.
- Why do I still see fleas after treatment? Over 95% of fleas are killed within 24 hours. Flea larvae in the neighbourhood must also be treated to prevent a complete flea infestation.
Important information
FRONTLINE® SPOT ON is specifically designed for dogs and should not be used on other animals such as cats. It is available in different sizes for dogs with different body weights.

Active ingredient: Fipronil. FRONTLINE® SPOT ON is suitable for the treatment of dogs with a body weight of 2 kg to 40 kg against flea, tick and hair lice infestations. It also offers a solution for flea bite allergy (flea allergy dermatitis).
