L-Citrulline Base - the natural amino acid
Citrulline is named after the watermelon (Citrullus vulgaris), which contains particularly high levels of citrulline in its rind. However, L-citrulline is also found in other cucurbits.
The amino acid (alpha-amino acid) L-citrulline plays an important role in the human body. It is a kind of "precursor" of L-arginine, which means that citrulline is converted to arginine in our body. This can increase arginine levels.
Our Citrulline Base Powder is finely ground during further processing so that it can be easily absorbed.
