Composition: One strip weighing 6.61 g contains:
- Active substance: 4.00 mg flumethrin (90%)
- Other ingredients: Low density polyethylene
Target species:
- Honey bee
Fields of application:
- For the control (therapy) of Varroa mites in honey bees
Contraindications:
- Do not use during the honey harvest or before the honey harvest.
- Do not use at the same time as other medicines for varroosis.
- Do not use at the same time as medicines for nosematosis.
Special warnings:
- The active ingredient flumethrin is toxic to fish.
- After treatment with Bayvarol®, putty resin must not be used for human consumption.
- Do not open the foil bag until immediately before use.
Precautions:
For animals:
- Bayvarol® is for external use only and must not be taken internally.
- Avoid direct contact with the skin, mucous membranes or eyes. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
- Wear protective gloves when attaching the strips.
- Do not eat, drink or smoke during application. Wash hands thoroughly after use.
For the user:
- Avoid direct contact with the skin and mucous membranes.
- In the event of accidental contact with the eyes or mucous membranes, rinse thoroughly with water.
Dosage and application:
- Normally developed colonies receive 4 strips.
- Weak colonies, offshoots and young colonies receive 2 strips.
- Strips are hung in the central brood nest area in the combs in such a way that the bees can access them from both sides.
- The application should last at least 4 weeks, but no longer than 6 weeks.
Overdosing:
- Overdoses are not to be expected due to the form of application (plastic strips).
- Bayvarol® Strips have not caused any intolerance in bees, even under extreme test conditions.

- Do not open the plastic bag until immediately before use.
