Medice® burn and wound gel in detail
Medice® burn and wound gel is an effective solution for treating burns, sunburn, abrasions and insect bites. It can simply be applied to the affected areas of skin with clean, dry fingers or a clean cotton swab. It is important that the tube opening does not come into contact with the wound.
The gel provides a pleasant cooling effect immediately after application. If this cooling effect wears off, the application can simply be repeated. The duration of application depends on the healing process.
Medice® burn and wound gel contains active ingredients such as benzethonium chloride, urea and macrogol-9-lauryl ether. The ingredients also include sodium alginate, purified water, sodium dihydrogen phosphate-2-water, disodium hydrogen phosphate-12-water, potassium sorbate and glycerol 85%.
This gel offers a triple action: it cools the skin, regulates moisture and promotes healing. The gel film protects the wound like a second skin and supports the self-healing process. Medice® burn and wound gel is suitable for the whole family.
It is an indispensable part of any first-aid kit. It has proven itself over many years in the treatment of burns, sunburn and abrasions. Thanks to its special gel formulation and selected ingredients, it quickly relieves symptoms. It can also be used for insect bites.
The special gel formulation provides a long-lasting cooling effect and relieves pain and itching. After application, an air- and moisture-permeable gel film forms, which assumes a protective function without impairing the drainage of the wound secretion. The wound is protected as if by a second skin and the healing-promoting environment favours the self-healing process. The risk of infection is reduced.
